Get into the habit of putting your jewelry on last when getting dressed. Purfume and hand cream can tarnish your jewelry. Remove your jewelry before showering or cleaning. Soap can cause a film to appear, making it appear dull and dingy. 

You will receive a polishing cloth with your piece. Use it when you see that your piece is getting dull. Placing your jewelry in a plastic bag and it will maintain it's luster. Also, you can clean your jewelry with warm water and baking soda. Make a somewhat thick paste of water and baking soda and rub it on your piece, then rinse with warm water. There are some jewelry cleaners in the market that are effective but be careful with your pearls and gemstones which are much more delicate.
